Mileage is influenced by various factors, including battery size, terrain, temperature, rider weight, and any additional gear.

From 0%, the battery will take about 5-6 hours to complete its charge.

Murfs feature motors that enhance performance and provide reliability, making cruising around anywhere super accessible and enjoyable. We use hub-drive motors integrated into the wheel for a simple design and easy maintenance. Typically, the motor's output is limited to 750W, and with class changing ability you can meet Class 2 and Class 3 eBike requirements.

The controller in a Murf e-bike acts as the central hub for communication among the various electronic components. It regulates the flow of electricity from the battery to the motor, ensuring precise control over speed, power output, and other critical parameters. The controller plays a vital role in providing a seamless riding experience, ensuring that power delivery is smooth and responsive, whether you're cruising on a flat trail or tackling a steep ascent.

The display on a Murf acts as the central interface and information hub, delivering key real-time data for your ride. It shows your speed in either miles per hour (mph) or kilometers per hour (km/h) and provides information on the remaining battery level to help with planning. Additionally, it lets you choose various levels of pedal assistance to tailor your riding experience and tracks trip details like distance traveled to monitor your progress.

If your Murf has Class 2 and Class 3 Capabilities, you will be able to switch between classes using the up and down arrow on the left handlebar. If you want to go from Class 2 to Class 3, you will hold the up arrow for 5 seconds. If you want to go back down to Class 2, then you will hold the down arrow for 5 seconds. Class 2 is set to 20mph max with throttle and pedal assist. Class 3 will be 28 mph max, but pedal assist only.

Yes, to a certain degree, but not recommended and please make sure not to submerge the motor, battery compartment, or any other electronic components in the water as that may cause significant damage. If the bike is wet after a ride due to rain or a puddle, please clean and dry the wet spots, thoroughly.

Not if properly taken care of. Murf’s design utilizes steel hardware and an aluminum frame. Keep components such as chain and gears clean to avoid corrosion and poor performance. Do not store outside preferably. Prolonged exposure to the elements especially coastal areas will result in rust buildup on the drivetrain.

For battery storage, avoid keeping a fully charged battery unused for long periods; instead, maintain a charge between 40% and 60% to extend its life. Discharge and recharge the battery every 2-3 months, ideally by riding your bike, and avoid deep cycling as it can shorten the battery's lifespan. After storage, fully recharge the battery and leave it on the charger for 30 minutes to 1 hour to balance the cells. Avoid storing or charging the battery in extreme temperatures, and never charge it in freezing conditions. Please refer to this battery care guide as well.
